Linda Faye Burns Robinson Brown, the daughter of Melvin Lee Burns Sr. and Jessie Lee Burns of New Orleans, departed this life on March 12, 2017 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Lee Burns Sr.; her mother, Jessie Lee Burns; her first husband, Clyde Jefferson Robinson Sr.; father-in-law, Ned Brown Sr.; one son, Antonio Christopher Brown; and two sisters-in-law, Kelly Ann Burns and Gwen Burns.

To honor her memories are her husband, Ned Brown Jr.; five children, one son, Clyde Jr. (Laquanta) Robinson; four daughters, Rachele (Derrick) Blankely, Rebecca Robinson, Larena Burns, and Miracle Brown, all of Bogalusa; one sister, Lorie Burns of Bogalusa; six brothers, Timmie (Giselle) Burns, Terry Burns, Melvin Burns Jr., Mark (Diane) Burns, Jeffrey (Felicia) Burns, all of New Orleans, Alex (Marlayna) Burns of Suffolk, Va.; five nieces, Tiara DeFreitas, Angel Burns, Shayday Henly, Ma’Kia Jackson and Jaiden Burns; three nephews, Timmie Burns Jr., Skyler Burns, Jeffrey Jr.; grandchildren, Barack, LaJonay, Aiden, LaVonn, Jerome, Autumn, Terriana Terrance; one granddaughter on the way, Mishael Robinson, all of Bogalusa; mother-in-law, Mrs. Bernice Brown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patricia Brown, Nieretta (Tony) Alexander, Minister Kenneth (Mary) Neal, all of Bogalusa, Georgia Wise of Tucson, Ariz.; four godchildren, Robin Gaines, Timmie Burns Jr., Shawn Fox Jr., and Ryan Crumedy; three special friends for life, Brenda Crumedy, Hazel Holts, and Arlene Bernard; and a host of grand-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa with Minister Clyde Robinson officiating.
