Lucille K. Boutwell, 88, born on July 22, 1928, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at her home in Bogalusa.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Boutwell of Bogalusa, and James “Jimmy” William Strahan and wife Shari of Bogalusa; grandchildren, James Strahan II and wife Angie of Dallas, Texas, Tara Marie Thibodaux and husband Paul of Lafitte, and Ryan Rester and wife Lela of Bogalusa; and seven great-grand-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Boutwell; her parents, William Edward Kennedy and Aquilla Green Kennedy; two sisters, Margaret Roberts, and Mary Parker; and two brothers, Johnny Spears and Wendell Green.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, March 9, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Field Thigpen and the Rev. Kevin Neary officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemeh Cemetery.
