Linda Gill Seals of Bogalusa, born Sept. 16, 1943, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, at the age of 73. She attended Palestine Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Brad) Martin of Bogalusa, and Tammy (Byron) Spears of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Kristi (Craig) Anderson and Ashley Martin, Thailyr Spears, Bailey Spears, Matthew and Austin Paulk; great grandchildren, Dawson Givens, Gabby Anderson, Abigail Anderson, Craig Mark Anderson III, Braxton Hillman, Braylin Spears, Adalynn Spears and Wyatt Paulk; a sister, Lisa (Jeff) Paulk of McComb, Miss.; a sister-in-law, Geri Seals of Bogalusa; and special friends Rachael Jenkins, Susan Painter, Wilkie Woods, Pam and Charles Helton, and David and Frankie Thompson.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Seals; her parents, Sexton Red Gill and Suzie Kenny Gill; a brother, Wayne Gill; a sister, Mackalee Applewhite; a brother-in-law, Leon Seals; and a niece, Kim Seals.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continued Tuesday, March 7, from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Fred Brumfield will officiate and interment will follow at Williams Cemetery.
