James Williams Sr.

James Charles Williams Sr. “J.C.,” 79, of Bogalusa, passed away on March 3, 2017, outside of Covington.
He was born on May 12, 1937. He was a U.S. Marine. He worked many jobs, which consisted of a dump truck driver, log hauler, cross country team driver, worked offshore, and also worked at the mill.
He is survived by his children, Faith E. Williams of Varnado, James C. Williams Jr. (Rebecca) of Bogalusa, Joy Williams-Landry of Sun and Charlotte Huval of Covington; his grandchildren, Charity E. Williams, Hope E. Williams, Quentin W. Landry, David Huval Jr., Margaret Huval, Karen Huval and Douglas Huval; with two step-children, Christa Catha of Bogalusa and Jeremiah Pounds of Texas. He has one sister, Telitha Talley (Ronald) of Sun.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore George “Ted” Williams and Zula Jenkins Williams; a daughter, Ennice Williams; two brothers, Delos Ray Williams and Theodore Dalcus Williams; along with one sister, Ora Lee Talley; his ex-wives, Annie Laura Wheeler Williams and Betty Davis Williams.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
The Rev. Leon Hickman will officiate over the funeral. Arrangements are being made by Bagnell & Sons on Lee Road.
