Ricco DiPietro

Ricco DiPietro, 63, a former resident of Bogalusa, born on Feb. 16, 1954, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at his residence in Covington. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired as a Corrections Sgt. Master at Rayburn Correctional Center, and was a former President of AFSCME Local 3686.

He is survived by his former wife, Sandra DiPietro of Covington; two daughters, Lauren DiPietro of New York, and Jody DiPietro of Kentucky; two sons, Anthony DiPietro (Whitney) and Alex DiPietro, both of Covington; one sister, Betty DiPietro of Arkansas; three grandchildren, Noah DiPietro, Madilyn DiPietro, and Axton DiPietro; and also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., with Bro. Doug Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemtery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: United Cerebral Palsy or New Heights Therapy Center in Folsom.
