Max Wayne Jenkins, born Jan. 28, 1954, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 26, 2017. Wayne, as he was known by, was a graduate of Bogalusa High School. He also served time in the U.S. Air Force and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jenkins Courtois of Bogalusa; three brothers, Allen(Minnie) Jenkins of Thibadeaux, Stanley (Dianne) Jenkins of Bogalusa and Paul (Pam) Jenkins of Hammond; five grandchildren and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max Wincel Jenkins; and a daughter, Brandy Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, beginning at noon until the service time at 2 p.m.
