Harry Forbes

Harry Jack Forbes, a resident of Angie, 67, born on Feb. 24, 1950, in Tylertown, Miss., passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton. Harry worked as a corrections officer for the state of Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Galloway Forbes of Angie; two daughters, Kristen Kinnamon (Preston), and Tiffany Ledet (Adam) both of Pine; two sons, Joshua Jack Forbes (Liza) of Brandon, Miss., and Dustin Matthew Forbes of Angie; two sisters, Anita Lott of Varnado and Janie Todd (Ken) of Quimbley, Iowa; one brother, Needham Rankin Forbes Jr. of Varnado; and nine grandchildren, Joshua Forbes, Jacob Forbes, Jonah Forbes, Kira Kinnamon, Eli Kinnamon, Beau Kinnamon, Peyton Kinnamon, Madison Ledet, and Ayden Ledet.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 1, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued on Thursday, March 2, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Cecil Harlyn officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Isabel.
