Emma Mae Baker

Emma Mae Baker, 79, passed away Feb. 15, 2017, at her residence. She was a retired LPN who worked at the Bogalusa Community Medical Center for many years.

She is survived by two sons, William “Billy” Henry Baker of Bogalusa, and Daniel Clyde Baker of Bogalusa; one daughter, Eddie Mae Davis of Bogalusa; five sisters, Nita Faye Dykes of Bogalusa, Vera C. Hall of Bogalusa, Janice Ann Ellis who lives in Kentucky, Gloria Jean Benson of Bogalusa, and Ellen Jean Taylor of Pine; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Myles Baker; parents, Grady and Lola Mae Crosby Davis; one brother, Lavon Davis; and one sister, Mary Davis.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
