Joseph Magee, 70, of Franklinton, died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at his residence in Franklinton.

Born Saturday, Oct. 26, 1946, in Franklinton, he was the son of the late Luke Magee and the late Hynetter Youngblood Magee.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Lear’s Hill C.O.G.I.C., located at 43515 Highway 38 in Franklinton, with Supt. Leslie Fields officiating. Interment will be in Lear’s Hill Cemetery in Franklinton.

The family will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at Washington Funeral Home, located at 714 Second St., in Tylertown, Miss., and from 10 a.m. until service time at Lear’s Hill C.O.G.I.C. on Saturday, Feb. 4.
