Mrs. Waver Robinson Tate, 90, died early morning on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, in her home in Franklinton.

She is survived by her children, Clarence (Gloria) Tate Jr., James (Lisa) Tate, Brenda (Jerry) Gatlin, and Renet (Jacob) Tate, all of Franklinton, Evelyn Tate of Baton Rouge, Rene (Otis) Brumfield of Covington, and John Tate of Panama City, Fla. She also leaves a sister, Marie (Edward) Causey of Franklinton.

Mrs. Tate is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 at Craft-Ginn Funeral Home in Tylertown, Miss., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton. The Rev. Jerome Warren will officiate.

Interment will be at Blackjack Cemetery in Hackley.
