James Filhiol Harvey, 91, passed away Dec. 31, 2016, in St Gabriel.

He was a lifelong resident of Bogalusa until the past 2-1/2 years, living in St. Gabriel with his daughter. He was a supervisor with Crown Zellerbach prior to retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Pauline Lively Harvey.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Harvey McDonald (Andre) and Susan Harvey Marchand (Rodney); three grandchildren, Gabriel Marchand of St. Francisville, and James McDonald and Emily McDonald, both of Houston, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Kylie Marchand and Ella Marchand, both of St. Francisville.

He requested no service and to be cremated.
