Martha M. Crain, a resident of Bogalusa, 97, born on Feb. 19, 1919, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She is survived by a grandson, Marlon Dean Harwell of Bogalusa; step-children, Eric Wayne Dressner of Varnado, Terry Crain (Peggy), Doris Coleman (Bob), Cecil Crain (Gay Elizabeth), and Lynda Dawson (Dave); eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Crowe and Victor Crain; her parents, Bonnie Leslie McNealy and Laurie Jane Brannon McNealy; her brother, Henry McNealy (Bertha Lee); and her niece, Marrita Jones (Ronald).

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
