Roby Marcellos Brock, 49, was born Sept. 26, 1967, to Mr. James Earl Brock and Mrs. Barbara Dexter Brock in Bogalusa. While surrounded by his family at his residence, he was called home by our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Douglas Hart, pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Earl (Barbara) Brock Sr. of Bogalusa; two sisters, Natasha (James) Briggs of Baton Rouge and Juanita Yvette (Robert) Hewitt of Bogalusa; a godbrother, Ryan King of Bogalusa; uncles, Jimmy Brock of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bexter Thomas of Detroit, Mich.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his: grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Zena) Brock and Mr. and Mrs. Will (Almay) Dexter; a brother, James “Man” Brock Jr.; an uncle, David Charles “D.C.” Dexter; and an aunt, Thelma Lee Brock Gibson.
