The Riverside Radiology Department recently updated its nuclear medicine camera system, also known as MC, according to a press release from the hospital.

Bryan Tate, the director of the department, states that this updated technology will lead to faster imaging times, along with an increase in the quality of the image. The patient’s time under the camera will be two times faster than the previous system that was in place, leading to an increase in the number of patients this department can see daily.

“We are working hard to bring the future of healthcare to our hometown and we appreciate the community’s support,” said new CEO Peter Sullivan. “This is just one example of the progress we are making here at Riverside Medical Center. We want our community to trust that they are receiving the best possible healthcare here at home, and this is just the start.”
