Jeffrey Keith Dugan passed into eternal peace on Friday, December 23, 2016. Jeffrey fought the good fight for a long time before being called home by Our Lord.

Jeffrey was born in Bogalusa on March 18, 1959. He was delightful to be around with a keen sense of humor. He is the son of the late Maxwell Dugan, Sr. and of Mary Fiorenza Dugan Brignac.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Michael and Michael’s wife Deanna Breland Dugan and their daughters Sarah (Patrick) and Natalie, and his step-father James Brignac as well as a host of cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Maxwell Greg Dugan, his grandparents, and his Aunt Lena Jacobs and Uncle Anthony Fiorenza.

Jeffrey wanted to be remembered as a good teacher, solely interested in his students being aware of the rewards of learning, especially history.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa, with recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
