Willard Mizell

Willard Glenn Mizell of Crossroads, Miss., born Aug. 21, 1938, passed away Dec. 7, 2016, at the age of 78 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was also a member of the Sun Baptist Church.

Glenn leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Eunice Lee Mizell; a son, Greg (Amanda) Mizell; a brother, Leslie “Les” Mizell; grandchildren, Stacey (Jim) Hernandez, Tyler Mizell, Autumn Hibley, Gary Hibley, Luke Hibley, Ethan Hibley, Aliveah Hibley and Andrew Jones; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Jay and Jacey Hernandez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lavert Mizell; and a sister, Ruth Russel.

Visitation was held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, on Sunday, Dec. 11, beginning at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and resumed Monday, Dec. 12, after 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. The Rev. Terry Rayburn and Bro. Buddy Ashe officiated the services. Interment followed in the Mitchell Chapel Church of God Cemetery.
