Ruby M. Tucker, 87, passed away on Dec. 7, 2016 in Destrehan.

She is survived by two sons, Wilton Hunt of Franklinton, and Wesley Hunt of Crosby, Texas; three daughters, Diane Wheeler of Ft. Worth, Texas, Susan Roper of Paulina, and Lynn McDevitt of Destrehan; one sister, Fannie Freeman of Kenner; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Tucker; son, Hardy Hunt; daughter, Faye Stanton; parents, G.E. and Ella Mae McNeese; and one sister, Ruth Hartfield.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, located at 610 Ave F. in Bogalusa, on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continue on Friday, Dec. 9, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Whittington Cemetery. Brother Don McDaniel will officiate.
