Robert Wilson Jr., a resident of Franklinton, 83, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, in Covington.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Mary Nell; four children, Caroll (Max) and Robert Earl (Regina) of Franklinton, Sonjua (Malcolm) of Lufkin, Texas; Roger Wilson of Covington, and Joan Sholes of Franklinton; one brother, Daniel (Leona) Wilson of Franklinton, and two sisters, Vendora Gray of Baton Rouge, and Nell Dawson of Cleveland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert I Wilson Sr. and Olivia Rhodes Wilson; sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Macedonia Wilson, and Louise Dunn.

The visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jarvis Lee officiating and Rev. Dr. Dennis Dunn, eulogist. The interment will be held in Wilson Cemetery.
