Mary Louise Mitchell of Crossroads, Miss., 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.

She is survived by: her children, Joel Mitchell, John and Dianne Mitchell, Mary and Gary Smart, and Tommy and Jeanne Mitchell; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Horatio Mitchell; two sons, David Mitchell and Eastman Mitchell; and a great-grandson, Chase Sr.

Visitation will be held at Mitchell Chapel Church of God of Crossroads, on Friday, Dec. 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Mitchell Chapel Church of God on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Tony Wheeler and the Rev. Gary Smart officiating. Interment will follow at Mitchell Chapel Church of God Cemetery.
