Oletta Bankston Arnold passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at the age of 97.

She is survived by her son, Larry Arnold and his wife, Mitzi Haik Arnold; Grandson, Scott Arnold and his wife, Traci; great-granddaughter, Isabella Arnold and great-grandson, Kramer Stuart and many cousins including Gayle McCants.

She was a member of Esther and Martha’s Willing Workers Class at Superior Avenue Baptist Church. She worked in the church nursery for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angus and Carrie Bankston, her brother and his wife, Clarence and Edna Bankston, and her baby son, Dudley Wayne Arnold.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. conducted by Brother Josh Williams. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
