Bill Monroe Branch, born Nov. 10, 1947, passed away peacefully Nov. 22, 2016, at PAM Specialty Hospital of Covington.

He was an employee at the Gaylord and Crown Zellerbach paper mill. He was a resident of Varnado, and was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Varnado.

He is survived by a son, Bryan Branch and his wife Kristy of Lake Charles; a daughter, Jessica Branch Messina and her husband Justin of Franklinton; two brothers, Terry Branch and his wife Kerrie of Varnado, and Harold Branch and his wife Kathy of Abita Springs; two sisters, Versie Branch Overstreet and her husband Bobby, and Mary Branch Knight and her husband Kevin; five grandchildren, Victoria Branch, Elizabeth Branch, Madysin Branch, Mason Branch and Jenkins Messina; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee and Audrey Ann Smith Branch; and a brother, J.W. Branch.
Visitation will begin Friday, Nov. 25, beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will resume Saturday, Nov. 26, after 8 a.m. until the service time at 10 a.m. The Rev. Scott Breland will officiate the services, with the interment to follow at the Seal Cemetery in Varnado.
