Special to The Daily News
Franklinton High School senior Stephanie Crowe recently participated in the 2016 Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) Prep Classic Poster contest. This contest is open to statewide high schools that belong to the LSHAA. Each year, they pick a poster designed by a student to adorn the cover of both the poster and the program cover for the LSHAA Prep Classic held each year in the Superdome.
Also, four runners up are also picked. This year Crowe was chosen as fourth runner up in this contest. This is the first year a student from FHS has placed in this contest.
Crowe is a senior at FHS and has belonged to the Talented Art Program at FHS for four years. She is an active student at FHS and maintains a 3.8 grade-point average. For being awarded fourth runner-up, Crowe’s name is shown on the LSHAA website and she will receive a gift basket from LSHAA, sponsored by Raising Cane’s.
