La’Delrick DeShun Magee

La’Delrick D. Magee was called home on Nov. 5, 2016, at the age of 24, in Bogalusa. He was born to Delores Magee and Derrick Preston on Feb. 5, 1992. La’Delrick graduated with the Bogalusa High School class of 2011.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bogalusa, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Elder Christopher Matthews, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Delores Magee and father Derrick Preston of Bogalusa; one daughter, Cayleigh Magee of Bogalusa; three brothers, Jimell Magee and Marcus (Ariel) Tennison of Bogalusa, and Maquell Williams of New Orleans; three sisters, Quwenequia Magee of Hammond, and Deseria Myres and Adilia Simmons of Bogalusa; six uncles, Wardell Magee of Bogalusa, Bruce Magee and Stephon Magee of Ohio, Dana (Senace) Preston of Cedar Hill, Texas, Robin Preston of Dallas, Texas, and Kelvin Preston of Bogalusa; one aunt, Alma Buckner of Bogalusa; special friends, James Wise, Parrish Walker, Ja’Juam Brister, Robyn Ratliff, Shanita Martin, Jasmine Crumedy, Aaron Magee, Barry Lucas, Anthony Martin and Darrin Holmes; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Hollis Preston, and Carolyn and Wardell Magee.
