Sarah Ann Creel Knight Murray, 65, a resident of Franklinton, died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at her home. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved her church very much.

Sarah Ann was a client of Davita Dialysis Center and grew close to those that served her through the years. She had a special place in her heart for her pet chihuahua “Gibbs.” Sarah Ann also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and B.J. Brumfield of Franklinton; son, David Knight of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Brody Brumfield, Brylie Brumfield and Sarah Ann Knight; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Brooks of Franklinton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Betty Westmoreland, Jessie and Theresa Westmoreland, all of Bogalusa, and Charles and Sherry Westmoreland of Franklinton; special aunt, Gloria Wood of Tylertown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other aunts and uncles and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Knight; her parents, C.L. Scarborough and Ruthie Lee Creel; and a sister, Sheryl Westmoreland.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Davita Dialysis and to the many caregivers that spent time with her and supported her through the years.
