The Bogalusa City School Board handled routine business during its monthly meeting Thursday evening.
The board unanimously approved the 2016-17 Pupil Progression Plan, distribution of excess sales tax, September financial statements, the Personnel Evaluation Plan and a list of job descriptions.
During her comments, Superintendent Toni Breaux noted that employees were able to get their most recent paycheck a little early, so they would have the money in time for next week’s parish fair.
The school board also approved a trip to Jackson, Miss., for the Bogalusa High School cross country team. This trip replaces a meet that was cancelled due to August flooding in Louisiana.
The next meetings for the school board will be a committee meeting on Monday, Nov. 14, and the regular meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17.
