Annie Elizabeth Moses Royster departed this life peacefully on Sept. 16, 2016, in Angie.

Annie was born to the late Theodore Moses Sr. and late Delsie Bickham Moses. Being reared in a devoted Christian home, her spiritual training began at Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Annie attended Sunday school and Baptist Training Union (BTU). She later joined Wesley Ray United Methodist Church.

Annie graduated from Wesley Ray High School in 1971. Annie continued her education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in institutional management (Dietician) from Grambling State University in 1974.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Kenny Richie Moses; one brother, Theodore (Janice) Moses Jr.; four sisters, Wanda (Clarence) Dickerson, Ivy (Oliver) Morris, Penny Moses and Mary Moses, all of Angie; one grandchild, three godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Royster; parents, Theodore and Delsie Moses; brother, Ray Moses; paternal and maternal grandparents and other relatives.

The visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie. The Rev. Terrence August, pastor, will be officiating. The interment will be held at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Angie.
