Mr. George Harris III, 69, passed away at his residence.

He is survived by: his wife, Jessica Harris of Bogalusa; his children, Darrin Harris (Kristi) of Poplarville, Miss., Kellie Ratliff (Steven) of Orlando, Fla., and Dorothy Ann Harris of Picayune, Miss.; his step-children, Jeremy Jones and Johna Jones of Bogalusa; a sister, Connie Williams (Marvin) of Florence, Miss.; and his grandchildren, Houston Harris, McKinsy Harris, Jaxtin Crawford, Jaden Harris, Abby Nunez, Aaron Whitney, Skylar Gaspa, Connor Gaspa and Jenna Gaspa.

George was preceded in death by his father, George Harris Jr., and his mother, Dorothy Jeter Harris.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. until the service time of 1 p.m. The Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate and interment will be held in McGehee Cemetery.
