Ronald Anders

Another angel has gained his wings — Ronald Glenn Anders transitioned from earth to glory on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016.

On April 20, 1960, Ronald was born. To many, he was known as “Ole Skool.” He was a loving son, father, uncle and friend with an outgoing personality.

Memories will be cherished forever in the hearts of his mother, Helen Anders of Franklinton; three daughters, Rona Boapner and Rhonda Evans of New Orleans, and Jasmine of Woodville, Miss.; three brothers, Jerry (Dianna) of the state of Iowa, Reginald (Wilma) of Texas, and Michael Dunham (Ebony) of Franklinton; three sisters, Kathy Anders of Houston, Texas, Ollie Anders of Baton Rouge, and Tomika Henry-Tony (Tyrone) of Applevalley, Calif.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his dad, Leon Hart, Jr., and brother, Clenton Ray Andrews.

The visitation will be Friday, Sept. 9, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be noon Saturday, Sept. 10, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, located at 44030 Max Brumfield Road in Franklinton. Pastor Michael O’Ree will be officiating the service.
