James Earl Lavigne, 68, of Bogalusa passed away on Aug. 17, 2016, at his residence.

He is survived by his son, Earl; daughter-in-law, Keisha; granddaughter, Kaylee Lavigne; and grandson, Joseph Wallace, all of McNeil, Miss; daughters, Sharon and Julia of Bogalusa, brothers, Micheal, Richard and Greg Lavigne; and one sister, Phyllis Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Lavigne Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
