Hershe Oliver

Hershe Provost Oliver, 77, of Enon, died at 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at her residence.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church and enjoyed her Quilting Ministry.
She is survived by: husband of 59 years, Lawrence H. “Larry” Oliver of Enon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie Lee and Keren Oliver of Bogalusa, and Lawrence Douglas and Tami Oliver of Alexandria; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Jim Weaver, and Ruth and Rick Naquin, all of Enon; a sister, Judy Wheat of Rosenberg, Texas; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Allen W. Provost of Philadelphia, Miss., and Joseph E. Provost and Teresa Fuenctes of Paris, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grand; and numerous nieces and nephews and other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel “Eft” and Hilda Corkern Provost; a
brother-in-law, the Rev. Jerry Wheat; and a sister-in-law, Emily Ann Provost.
Visitation will be at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church on Friday, Sept. 2, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Leon Hickman and the Rev. Brian Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Doug Oliver, Don Oliver, Edward Provost, Kyle Weaver, Rick Naquin and Bo Galloway.
