Dianne Dunn

Dianne James Calloway Dunn was a graduate of the Bogalusa High School class of 1976.

She attended Calvert Kenner Baptist Church in Kenner, New Hope Church in Kenner, Dillard University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work, and Southern University at New Orleans where she earned her master’s degree in social work.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Tamaria (Louis) Dunn of Mobile, Ala., Rayshonda Dunn of Slidell, Willie Dunn of Ruston and Kenneth Dunn of Mobile; three brothers, Willie Calloway and Jessie Calloway of Flint, Mich., and Barry Johnson of Texas City, Texas; two sisters, Shirley Calloway McArthur of Pensacola, Fla., and Gwendolyn Simmons of Tylertown, Miss.; two grandchildren, Zoey LaNea Dunn of Slidell and Andrea Danyelle Hill of Mobile; a special friend, John D. Miller of New Orleans; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Willie James Calloway; her mother, Angie Calloway Burnett; her stepfather, Elous Bernett; and her sisters, Brenda Magee and Kimberly Magee Rogers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2016, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by the a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, located at 1112 Ann St. in Bogalusa, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Stanley Nathaniel, pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Jayees, Miss.
