Charles Gregory Welch, 58, born on Feb. 16, 1958, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by two daughters, Brandy Carroll and Katie Welch; a step-son, Aaron Gabriel; wife, Donna Welch; a sister, Sylvia Paige; two brothers, Kenneth Bruce Welch and Scott Lloyd Welch; a special nephew, Logan Manton; and five grandchildren, Amy “Jasmine Jones” McLod, Mister Carroll, Kayden McNabb, Mary Robertson and MaKaila Welch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin L. Welch and Katie M. McNabb; and a granddaughter, Erica Nicole Carroll.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation continued at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 30, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral services began at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gregory Russell officiating. Interment followed at Gardens Of Peace in Ponemah Cemetery.
