Robert Davis

Robert “Bobby D” Alton Miles Davis, 37, passed away at his home in Bogalusa on July 8, 2016. He was born on Nov. 24, 1978, in Covington.
He was a carpenter for many years, until he became disabled in 2007, because of a bad vehicle accident that changed his life completely.
Bobby loved his parents and family. He enjoyed playing sports, and he was a great player. He enjoyed the water with swimming, skiing and knee boarding.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Eddie Mae (Baker) Davis. Bobby was the loving father of four beautiful daughters, Tatum Davis, Elizabeth “Liza” Davis, Diamond Davis, and Alyssa Sanchez. Bobby had one sister, Anna Marie (Davis) Falgout Rickey, who loved him very much. He had two nephews, Robert Falgout and René Falgout, that he loved like his own. His maternal grandmother was Emma Mae Baker. Bobby was there for his mother and grandmother, and was very helpful in every way.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joe Davis; his paternal grandparents, Alton and Jeanette Davis; maternal grandfather, Daniel Miles Baker; maternal great-grandparents, Lola Mae and Grady Davis; paternal great-grandparents, Kelly and Myrtle Penton; and his aunt, Mary “Annette” Davis.
The memorial service will be held at Jesus Ministry Outreach, at 1040 Ave. E in Bogalusa on Monday, July 25, at 5 p.m.
