Two parish residents were recently arrested in connection with sexual crimes against underage victims, according to Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office officials.

Donald Stone, 62, of Bogalusa, allegedly committed sexual acts on a 5-year-old family member. A WPSO detective arrested Stone on Friday.

Due to the circumstances of this arrest, the WPSO would not release any more details in order to protect the juvenile victim and the victim’s family. Stone has a bond set at $200,000 and is charged with first-degree aggravated rape.

Michael J. Fox, 50, of Mt. Hermon, allegedly committed sexual acts on a developmentally disabled 14-year-old. A WPSO detective arrested Fox on Thursday.

Again, to protect the juvenile victim and the victim’s family, the WPSO declined to release any additional details.

Fox has a bond set at $242,523 and is charged with first-degree aggravated rape.

“Our detective division did an outstanding job handling these two very sensitive matters,” Parish Sheriff Randy Seal said. “Sexual abuse of a minor is despicable and without excuse.

“Our officers are always aggressive on investigating sexual offenses, whether the victim is a minor or an adult. We will leave no stone unturned to solve such crimes and to protect the victims of those crimes.”
