- DAILY NEWS PHOTOS/Jesse Wright Police officers and first responders work at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash on Willis Avenue in front of the International Paper Bogalusa mill Wednesday. Investigators are unsure what caused the single-vehicle accident.
A Bush man was killed Wednesday, after the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving veered off the road.
According to acting Bogalusa police chief Gene Crosby, Richard Spencer Jr., 48, of Bush, was travelling eastbound on Willis Avenue at about 12:55 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle.
Crosby said the accident was a single-vehicle accident and the cause has yet to be determined.
“I’m not sure why he veered off the road,” Crosby said.
