Alexis Levi

Alexis Brianne Levi was born on Feb. 3, 2016, in Bogalusa, to Kelli Shanice Burkhalter and Kevin Everett Levi.

Alexis leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Tameal Lashay and Latasha Marie of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Kevin E. Levi Jr. of Bogalusa, and J’Keiston Levi of Fort Worth, Texas; grandmother, Carolyn Burkhalter of Franklinton; aunts, Kamila Burkhalter of Los Angeles, Calif., Karla (Chris) Penton, Maeoceal (Larry) Brown, Chequita (Brandon) Short and Crystal (Jerrold) Montgomery, all of Bogalusa, and Kimberly Burkhalter and Kendra Burkhalter of Franklinton; uncles, Keith (Julie) Levi of Holland, Mich., and Douglas (Brenda) Levi, Robert (Chandra) Levi, Kendrick (Tessa) Varnado, Rafael (Loren) Wilson and Sabashon (Deon) Levi, all of Bogalusa.

Her most special memories include a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, Marie Brock, Adnesha Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Patterson and Mr. and Mrs. Washington, and Casey.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Anthony Burkhalter and Larry Walter Levi; grandmother, Mary Alice Levi; aunt, Felicia Levi McGriggs; and uncle, Jeffery Levi.

Viewing will be Saturday, June 4, from noon until 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Cook-Richmond Funeral Home.
