Rhonda Denise Watson, 60, passed away May 27, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Bogalusa, and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, James B. Watson; a son, Jimmy H. Smith Jr. (Denise); a granddaughter, Kyla Briann Vallejo of Franklinton; one sister, Debra Lynn Cotton (Doy) of Bogalusa; and sisters-in-law, Mary Smith, Becky Watson, Sharon Thornhill and Evelyn “Tiny” Smith (Jimmy Sr.) of Franklinton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jeanette Gerald; sister, Linda Wise; two brothers, Mark and Mike Gerald; a son, Jason Paul Mizell; and a grandson, Kaden Vallejo.

Rhonda loved spending time with her granddaughter Kyla and her Boogi (her fur baby).

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, from 10 a.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. David Easterling will officiate.
