Attempted murder fugitive captured

Attorney General Jeff Landry announced Friday that his Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU) arrested Kelzon Clark, a suspect wanted for attempted murder in Bogalusa.

“Working closely with local law enforcement, our Fugitive Apprehension Unit efficiently made this arrest,” Landry said. “The Louisiana Department of Justice is committed to apprehending criminals and bringing them to justice.”

In March, the Bogalusa Police Department issued an arrest warrant for attempted second-degree murder against Clark. The warrant stemmed from a shooting incident, where he allegedly entered an apartment and shot a victim three times, resulting in the victim suffering critical injuries.

Following his arrest yesterday by the Attorney General’s FAU, Clark was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Facility as a fugitive.
