Curtis Kendle “Bone” Tate Sr. passed away at the age of 55 on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Shayla Allen and Curtis Tate Jr. (Amanda); two grandchildren, Naomi and Amila Tate; brothers and sisters, Curtis Taylor (Annette), Pearlie Taylor, Jackie Tate, Patricia Taylor, Bryan Tate Sr., Deborah Magee, Jackie Sue Hills (Lloyd), Christ Tate (Cheryl), Tiffany Johnson, Keiarra Tate, Warren Mae Tate, Phillip Tate, Supt. Cecealine Tate, Wayne Tate, James Tate, John Tate, Brenda Tate, Thelma Hart and Polanski Tate.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at Magee’s Temple C.O.G.I.C. with Supt. Cecealine Tate, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Winan Cemetery.
