Sybil F. Breland went to be in the loving arms of the Lord at the age of 91 on April 22, 2016. Her loving soul ascended to heaven from a blessed restful sleep after a bout with cancer.

She is survived by her three children Carlus (Donita) of Manassas, Virginia; Steven (Debbie) of Boonville, Missouri and Francis Dudenhefer (Richard) Kissimmee, Florida; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband Frank, parents Walter and Nell (Baughman) Applewhite, four brothers and one sister.

Visitation was on Monday, April 25 from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral home located at 216 Alabama Ave., Bogalusa, Louisiana, 985-732-4721. Funeral services were held at the same on Tuesday April 26 beginning at 11 a.m. with interment following at Ponemah Cemetery. Deacon Jan Smith was officiating.
