Robert Dale White, 62, born on Jan. 20, 1954 in Picayune, Miss., passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at his residence in Covington.

He is survived by four daughters, Jennifer White and Tommie Foster (Charles), both of Bogalusa, Natalie Bell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Karen Dody (Shannon) of Amarillo, Texas; three sons, DeWayne Penton (Danette) of Franklinton, Wesley Penton and Robbie White (Sherry), both of Covington; two sisters, Gail Leonick (Gerald) of Metairie, and Nute Holland (Shane) of Bogalusa; four brothers, Ray Hawk (Annette) of Varnado, Curtis Hawk of Colorado, Donald Hawk of Maine and Billy Hawk (Kim) of Isabel; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie White; and his parents, Dimples Bowden and Wesley Fuller.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Memorial services began at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Kellie Penton officiating.
