Ivan Shawn Breland, a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Folsom, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016.

He was 41 years old, a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Visitation was held at Lee Hill Baptist Church in Folsom, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., on Thursday, April 7. Visitation will resume at the church at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 8. Interment will be at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Angela M. Breland; daughter, Serenity Breland; sons, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael and Jasun Breland; mother, Emogene T. Breland; brothers, Marty and Daniel Breland; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dennis and Linda Lee.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dale Breland.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Cotton, Nicholas, Marty and Reb Breland, Dennis and Tucker Lee, Gary Crawford and Mark McCain.
