Clara Mae Jenkins Sharp Devault, 75, who was born on April 17, 1940, passed away on March 26, 2016 at Santa Rosa Medical Center, in Milton, Fla.

She was a lifelong resident of Covington and Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Bud Jenkins; children, Elizabeth Sharp and Kenneth Alonzo Sharp; and her late husband, Melton Junior Sharp.

She is survived by her sister, Ethel (Don) Ward; children; son, James Melton (Jacqueline) Sharp and their children, Brooklyn and Daynan; daughter, Tammy Sharp and her children, Pamela Ackerson, Micheal Gregg, Destiney Gregg; daughter, Lottie Regina Sharp and her child, Laney Vizzini; son, Joseph (Emily) Sharp Sr. and their children, Matthew Nielsen, Brittany Stewart, Alexus Strikemiller, Blake Nielsen and Joseph Sharp Jr.; daughter, Amanda (Glynn) Williams and their children, Jeffrey, Dylan and Maegan Williams; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are being held at Bagnell Funeral Home in Covington.

Family viewing is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Public viewing is 10 a.m. until time of services at noon.

Pall Bearers are Joseph Sharp Sr., Joseph Sharp Jr., Micheal Gregg Jr., Glynn Williams, Kenneth Sharp Jr. and Dylan Williams.
