It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wayne Lafleur announces his passing on Friday, March 11, 2016, at the age of 64 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Wayne will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his mother, Margie Lafleur of Eunice; son, Chance Lafleur and wife, Donna, of Cankton; daughters, Monique Luckianow and husband, Peter, of Eunice, and Jeannie Lafleur of Bogalusa; sister, Phyllis Ortego and husband, Hilliard, of Eunice; and three grandchildren, Hunter Lafleur, Brianna Lafleur and Emmie Newcomb.

He is preceded in death by his father, Winnes Lafleur.
