Roy Dale Freeman, 75, passed away March 24, 2016, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of Bogalusa and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Wanda T. Freeman of Bogalusa; two daughters, Lisa Spears (Ronnie) of Bogalusa, and Emily Smith (Bernard) of Bogalusa; seven grandchildren, Brandon Freeman, Jamie Franks, Tyler Stevens, Hayden Freeman, Allisa Dykes, Colby Spears, and Tyler Wascom; and great-grandchildren, Paxton Stevens, Rory Franks, Porter Stevens and Addison Simmons.

He is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Versie Hunt Freeman; brother, Bobby Freeman; sister, Chrystle Mikeska; grandson, Keith Dykes; and nephew, Douglas Mikeska.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, March 28, from 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette will officiate.

Military rites will be conducted by Magic City Post #24 American Legion.
