Mark Eugene Long, 39, born on June 20, 1976, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Cauley Long of Bogalusa; a daughter, Jordyn Long of Varnado; a son, Jacob Long of Varnado; his mother, Martha Sheridan Lee of Bogalusa; his father, Larry Long Sr. (Bridget) of Lafayette; a sister, Marsha L. Seibert (Jimmy) of Franklinton; a brother, Larry Long Jr. (Debbie) of Ohio; his paternal grandmother, Bonnie Long of Ohio; special cousins, Patsy and Kelton Breland; along with many other family members.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Pearlie Sheridan; and paternal grandfather, William E. Long.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, March 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with Elder Duane Ball officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.
