Joel Kenneth Harvison, 75, born on July 8, 1940, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by a daughter, Jill H. Breazeale (James) of Abita Springs; a son, Jason E. Harvison (Carmen) of Diamondhead, Miss.; two sisters, Joan Quimby of Dallas, Texas, and Carol Perry of Attleboro, Mass.; two brothers, Gerald Harvison (Linda) of Baton Rouge, and Edwin Harvison (Connie) of Sevierville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jacob Harvison, Eden Breazeale, Dane Breazeale and Wren Breazeale; and a special friend, Frances Dunaway of Bogalusa.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral services will be begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Keith Sheridan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
