Jody Emile Erwin passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 16, 2016, at his home in Bogalusa, at the age of 43.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Bogalusa.

Mr. Erwin especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jody was an avid fisherman and hunter. One of his favorite pastimes was to play softball with his sister in the yard.

He is survived by one sister, Tamara Erwin Spears; his stepfather, Ray Winstead; one very special cousin, Brandy Crain Hines; his aunt, Betty Hickman Davis; his niece, Shelbi Spears Winstead; his nephew, Colby Spears; and special friends, Mrs. Shannon Fornea for 15 years, and Audrey Steen, Brandon Forbes, and Tyshaun (Chop).

Jody is preceded in death by his parents, Jene and Linda Erwin.

A special thank you to all his friends at the Adak. A memorial service will be held at a later time and date.
