Judy J. Wheat, 68, born on Oct. 30, 1947 in New Orleans, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, at her residence in Bush.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Rogers and Theresa Rogers; two sons, William Rogers and Sherman Rogers; one sister, Ruth Revere; and one brother, Eddie Gabriel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Murphy J. Wheat; and one sister, Betty Gabriel.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
