Inez N. Sandifer

Inez N. Sandifer, 93, passed away Jan. 27, 2016, at Our lady Of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She was a resident of Bogalusa and a charter member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Charles O. Ingram of Bogalusa; two daughters, Charlene Branch of Bogalusa and Marlene Ard of Thomasville, Ala.; two brothers, Luke Miley of Varnado and Elder Mason Miley of Pine; two sisters, Lucille Bowman of Mandeville and Macelle Cogburn of Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Oved Ingram; parents, Luther and Margaret Miley; brothers, Henry, Houston and Kinch Miley; sisters, Chinese Tony, Irene Hunt, Dorothy Sandifer and Gladys Brooks.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will continue on Monday, Feb. 1, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 1 p.m. The Rev. Lerand Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in Miley Cemetery.
